WHAT IS THE LAST DAY THAT I CAN ORDER TO ENSURE DELIVERY BY FEBRUARY 14TH?

The last day for guaranteed arrival by Valentine's Day via standard shipping is Monday 2/7 at 5pm PST. 

Our expedited shipping cutoffs are as follows: 

Order by Thursday 2/10 at 12n PST with UPS 2nd Day Air for guaranteed arrival by Valentine’s Day. 

Order by Friday 2/11 at 12n PST with UPS Next Day Air for guaranteed arrival by Valentine’s Day.

WHAT IS HOLD FOR HOLIDAY?

Hold for holiday is a button you can select in your cart. When you select this, we hold your gifts to ship to arrive between 2/7-2/14 and include a “Don't Open Until Valentine's Day” sticker on the outside of each shipping box.

If you select HOLD for HOLIDAY, you might get a tracking number earlier than your BOXFOX actually ships. Don't worry, it's still being held and that will be the tracking number when it does ship out. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I ORDER AFTER THE GUARANTEED DELIVERY WINDOW?

If your order is placed after 5pm PST on February 7th via Standard Shipping, we cannot guarantee delivery by February 14th. 

HOW DOES MY ORDER SHIP?

All Valentine’s Day orders will include To / From tags on the outside of the gift box, as well as “Don’t Open Until Valentine’s Day!” stickers on the outside of the brown shipping box.

All gift boxes purchased on BOXFOX via our Ready to Ship or Build a BOXFOX collections are shipped in luxe packaging, topped with a handwritten note with no pricing included.

All individual items purchased through the Marketplace will ship with packing slips, and no handwritten note.

HOW DO THESE PRODUCTS SHIP?

The Marketplace is a shop and therefore the products come in standard ecom packaging with a packing slip. If you're looking for gifts, all items purchased via Build a BOXFOX or our Ready to Ship collection come in luxe packaging, topped with your note, handwritten.

There is nothing quite like receiving a surprise gift in the mail. Here at BOXFOX, shipping is a huge part of what we do and we are committed to offering the best price we can to ensure your specially curated gift arrives to its recipient in a safe and timely manner. 

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE TO ARRIVE?

Orders take 3-8 business days to deliver via standard shipping, depending on where they're going. 

If you select one of our expedited shipping options, we will fulfill orders placed before 12n PST the same business day, otherwise they will be fulfilled the next business day.

Orders shipped out Friday via UPS Next Day Air are not guaranteed for Saturday delivery and will likely be delivered Monday. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery as UPS only offers Saturday delivery in a limited number of metropolitan areas.

Our warehouse ships Monday - Friday, 9a - 5p PST and is closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Our warehouse does not ship on the following holidays: MLK Jr Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and annually 12/24-1/1.

DO YOU OFFER SATURDAY DELIVERY?

We unfortunately cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, as UPS does not widely offer Saturday delivery. If you place an order on Thursday via UPS 2nd Day Air before 12n PST, or on Friday via UPS Next Day Air 12n PST, your order will likely be delivered the following Monday.

Orders placed via UPS 2nd Day Air before 12n PST are guaranteed delivery within 2-business days. Orders placed via UPS Next Day Air before 12n PST are guaranteed delivery within 1-business day.

WHAT ARE YOUR RULES REGARDING EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

Glad you asked. Our warehouse and customer experience team operates M-F, 9a-5p, and during that time we are shipping constantly.

If you place an expedited order (meaning you select 2 Day or Overnight shipping) before 12n PST on a M-F, we will fulfill the same day.

If you place an expedited order after 12n PST, your expedited order will be shipped out the next business day.

We know you'll love what we do so much that we want to give everyone the chance to send their first box, without giving shipping a second thought (or a dollar). How it works:

Free standard shipping applies to domestic orders over $100 per shipping address. That means if you're placing a huge multiple address order, free shipping only applies on a per address basis.

If you simply activate your account, aka sign up for THE FOX FLEET, it changes to free shipping on orders over $75 per address.


THE FINE PRINT: Our free shipping code cannot be combined (stacked) with any other offers. 

DOES BOXFOX SHIP AS SHOWN?

BOXFOX ships in a luxe original creme or matte black BOXFOX with a snugly tied bow. 

MY BOX IS A GIFT. I DON'T WANT A RECEIPT OR ANY PRICES.

We never include receipts or inventory / packing slips inside any of our boxes, knowing that they are almost always a gift. In terms of prices, we don't alter any of our products by removing tags or crossing out labels - we want to keep the packaging beautiful and intact - but many of our products don't have price tags in the first place, and when they do, they are small and subtle. 

IS SHIPPING INCLUDED?

While we're always striving to keep shipping costs low, per-box shipping is an additional cost, except on boxes over $100 (per address).

I ORDERED A BOX VIA ONE OF YOUR EXPEDITED OPTIONS AND IT WAS DELAYED A DAY OR TWO, NOW WHAT?

We’re so sorry to hear that! Unfortunately, once an order leaves our warehouse, we’re at the mercy of our carriers to deliver our orders as promised. If a delay happened on UPS’s part, it is out of our control and we are unable to offer refunds for shipping costs at this time. Of course, if it’s an egregious delay, email us and we’ll see what we can do.

I WANT TO CHANGE THE SHIPPING ADDRESS BY MY ORDER ALREADY SHIPPED.

Unfortunately, we're unable to submit address change requests once an order has shipped. We're so sorry! Please be sure to carefully look over the order confirmation email after your order has been placed, as we're more than happy to make any changes to the shipping address prior to shipment!

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN POLICY?

All gift box sales are final (but trust us, they'll love it). We don't accept returns, exchanges or cancellations on items purchased via Build a BOXFOX or Ready to Ship.

For items purchased on the Marketplace, we accept returns within 15 days of purchase with a return fee of $7.

WILL MY RECIPIENT NEED TO SIGN FOR THE DELIVERY OF THEIR BOXFOX?

We do not require a signature upon delivery. However, there are instances when a delivery driver may decide to require a signature upon delivery, and we unfortunately have no control over this decision. We ask that our customers diligently check the tracking information provided in their shipping confirmation email to stay up-to-date with their delivery.

IT SAYS THE DELIVERY OF MY BOXFOX WAS UNSUCCESSFUL, NOW WHAT?

Please be sure to diligently check the tracking information provided with your shipping confirmation email. We're here to help call carriers, companies and track down packages, but there is only so much we can do. If the delivery was unsuccessful due to an incorrectly input address, we're unfortunately unable to provide a replacement or refund. However, if your package is returned to our warehouse, we'll be happy to provide a refund for the value of the giftbox!

MY BOX SAYS IT WAS DELIVERED, BUT MY RECIPIENT NEVER GOT IT.

Have them take a good look in and around their front yard/backyard/lobby/etc. and ask around to see if anyone has grabbed it for them --  there’s a good chance it’s hiding somewhere (trust us, it happens all the time). If tracking reflects that your order has been delivered, but your recipient is unable to locate the package, reach out to our customer care team and they’ll do everything in their power to help you locate your order. Beyond that, unfortunately this is a rare situation that’s out of our control, and can be attributed to any number of things, including the package being stolen or lost. We're unable to issue refunds or replacements for lost or stolen packages at this time. We recommend filing a carrier claim, and we’ll be happy to do the same on our end! 

MY ORDER IS DELAYED!

We’re so sorry your package is experiencing a delay! Unfortunately, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, DHL, USPS and UPS are experiencing delivery delays due to limited transportation availability, and some packages may take up to 7-12 days to be delivered. While our team works tirelessly to ensure that your orders are processed and shipped out at quickly as possible, certain delays are sadly out of our hands. However, if your order still has not been delivered after 12 days, please reach out and we’ll be happy to take care of this for you! 

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

We ship anywhere in the United States (yes you, Hawaii and Alaska!) as well as APO and FPO military addresses and all US territories.

Unfortunately, we have suspended international shipping for the remainder of 2022. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I JUST RECEIVED A SHIPPING CONFIRMATION BUT I REQUESTED MY BOX BE HELD FOR A LATER DATE. HELP!

Don’t worry -- our system automatically sends out shipping confirmation emails with tracking numbers when your order is prepped. Don’t be alarmed -- if you’ve selected HOLD for HOLIDAY, your order is still being held in our warehouse and will ship and arrive in the promised time frame. 

HELP! IT STATES MY ORDER HAS BEEN CANCELLED!

Don’t worry -- your order likely has not been cancelled. If you placed an order with boxes shipping to multiple addresses, we use a third party app that allows us to process these requests. When the order is placed, it is immediately cancelled and new orders for each address are created so that we can fulfill those individually and send you each tracking number as it processes. Not to worry, you were not charged twice.

The FOX FLEET is our free loyalty program that rewards you based on how much you shop. The more you spend, the more (and better) perks you get. Yep, it’s that easy and that good.

HOW DO I JOIN THE FOX FLEET?

All you have to do is create an account online. The program is entirely free to join—there’s no minimum spending amount required. So go ahead, get in on those benefits.

WHAT BENEFITS DO THE FOX FLEET MEMBERS GET?

The benefits of the program vary depending on your tier status, but all FOX FLEET members receive a birthday gift - a personal 25% off birthday code, discounted or free shipping, and access to exclusive products. The breakdown of perks according to tier status is in the chart below.

HOW IS MY FOX FLEET TIER STATUS DETERMINED?

Your FOX FLEET status is determined by how much you spend each calendar year on shopBOXFOX.com (after promotional offers, before taxes and shipping charges are applied) when you provide or check out with the email address that is registered to your account. Please note that there is a 30-day delay in the spend calculation that places you in your tier status.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I RETURN ITEMS?

We don't currently accept returns. However, when and if we do, upon the return of an item, the spend amount applied to your tier status for the original purchase will be deducted from your account.

COMBINE SPEND FROM MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS INTO A SINGLE ACCOUNT?

We absolutely cannot combine accounts at this time and urge you to use a single email address for all transactions on shopBOXFOX.com to ensure you receive credit toward FOX FLEET loyalty program tier status for every qualifying purchase made going forward. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY BIRTHDAY GIFT?

All FOX FLEET members will be sent a personal 25% off code on their birthday, which they’ll be invited to redeem that month. On the rare occasion that we are out of stock on a particular item, one of our gifting specialists will personally contact you with options of equal or greater value (and aesthetic). 

DO THE BOXES COME WITH A NOTE?

Each BOXFOX includes a hand-written, custom-designed note. You simply provide us with your message and we'll handle the rest. 

DO THE BOXES EVER CHANGE?

Why yes Margot, they do. We’re constantly innovating and updating our product portfolio to refresh existing boxes, and we're always coming up with new box ideas. 

CAN I CUSTOMIZE A BOX?

Absolutely! Use our BUILD A BOXFOX platform and custom build the perfect gift.

WHY WAS I SENT A DIFFERENT BOX SIZE THAN WHAT WAS REFLECTED IN MY ORDER?

We utilize an algorithm to determine which size box will be needed based on the items you select. 99.9% of the time it is correct - but it can be wrong! Sometimes the items you've selected won't fit in the box and we need to bump it up, sometimes we bump it down to make your gift look fuller! Our team of gifting specialists reserves the right to change the size of your box as we are packing and wrapping your gift.

CAN I SHIP TO MULTIPLE DIFFERENT ADDRESSES IN ONE ORDER?

Yes, our site was actually built for this! Simply check the box “Ship to Multiple Addresses” when reviewing your cart, give the page a moment to load, and you’ll then be prompted to enter the addresses, To/From information, and card messages for each recipient. It’s really that easy! 

CAN I PURCHASE A GIFT CARD?

Yes! We offer virtual gift cards. You can purchase your gift card here. Selecting the amount you would like to give and checkout. The gift card will be emailed directly to you (the buyer), to either print or forward directly to the recipient. 

DO YOU SHIP ITEMS THAT CAN MELT DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS?

While we minimize the number of products available on our site that have the potential to melt, items such as chocolate and candles are consistently requested. Please note that including items in gift boxes that are subject to melting is at your own risk. BOXFOX cannot guarantee the quality of these items upon delivery, and we are unable to issue refunds as a result of melting.

REGULAR (matte black and original crème) // 8" x 10" x 4"

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

WHAT'S YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?

We only offer returns on items purchased through the Marketplace within 15 days of shipment of items. Products must be returned in their packaging and in stellar condition. All returns will be subjected to a $7 return fee, which will be deducted from your refund. We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet the above mentioned standards.

We offer returns on items purchased through the Marketplace ONLY within 15 days of shipment of items. Product must be unused and in original packaging. Head to our “Start a Return” section of the website to initiate a label. Once your items are returned, simply place an order for your new item.

WHY DO YOU OFFER RETURNS ON INDIVIDUAL ITEMS BUT NOT GIFT BOXES?

Per our policy, any BOXFOX gift box, custom built BOXFOX and the items curated in them are final sale and not eligible for returns, refunds or exchanges.

If you’re returning items from our Marketplace that meet our return policy standards, your refund will be processed and applied to the original method of payment, minus our return fee of $7. Please note, refunds can take 7-10 business days to appear on your bank account.
